A huge thankyou and pat on their collective backs to the Host Committee at this, our 50th Anniversary Championship.
Co-convenors, Winston Bryan and Peter MacDonald have brought together a wonderful crew to host this year. Everyone has done a great job and makes you feel welcome in this wonderful city and province. OK, the weatherman being the only one who doesn't seem to be co-operating. We'll have to send someone over to Environment Canada to have a talk with him/her. Even with the snow though, it hasn't really dampened anyone's spirits.
I think everyone who "has come from away" has a desire to come back for a summer view of this scenic area of our country.
